Insait — Private Kindergarten and Education Centre in Riga

science-based solutions for respectful, child-centred education

Insait is a private kindergarten and education centre in Riga, offering science-based, child-centred programmes for children from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. We create a shared learning environment where Latvian is the main language of daily life and learning, supporting gentle, emotionally safe integration that respects each child’s pace and well-being.

Through our extracurricular programmes, we treat multilingualism as a strength. Children develop language skills, thinking, STEM abilities and emotional resilience in a balanced way, without pressure or overload, and always in line with their age and developmental needs.

Families choose Insait for our focus on emotional safety, individual support and a strong sense of belonging, alongside solid academic foundations in a supportive, multilingual and internationally minded environment.

Educational programmes

Since September 2021, Insait has been offering educational and developmental programmes for children of different ages, making high-quality education accessible to a wide range of families, including international and multilingual families living in Riga.
Many children who have attended Insait successfully continue their education in Latvian schools as well as international schools abroad.

The preschool and early school years are among the most important periods in a child’s life. This is when attitudes toward learning, self-confidence and the world are formed. At Insait, we believe this stage should be lived with calmness, mindfulness, and a deep respect for the child.

Our mission

The mission of our private kindergarten and children’s development centre is to support children’s learning and development in a way that respects each child’s right to actively take part in shaping their education and future.
We work with respect for every child, regardless of age, native language, cultural background, developmental profile or previous learning experience.

Our vision

We see the child as an educated, reflective and emotionally confident individual who:

  • is successfully integrated into Latvia’s education system and society

  • uses Latvian confidently in learning and everyday life

  • is open to other languages and learns them without fear or pressure

  • preserves and develops their native language

  • feels secure in communication with adults

  • is curious, asks questions and enjoys learning

At Insait, we believe that quality education is the foundation for a child’s confident future and respectful relationships with others.

Our values

  • Respect for the child: we respect each child’s individuality, developmental pace and needs.
  • Language as the foundation of a shared environment: Latvian language is the common language of learning and communication at Insait, bringing children from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds together through interaction, friendship and discovery.
  • The thinking child: we foster understanding, independent thinking and meaningful learning.
  • Emotional safety: a calm, supportive and predictable environment is the foundation of confidence and healthy development.
  • Partnership with families: we believe that strong collaboration with parents is essential. Through open communication and shared responsibility, we support each child’s well-being and offer monthly one-to-one meetings with the Director of Insait to discuss development, language progress and emotional well-being.

Our team

We are a multidisciplinary team of professionals in pedagogy, psychology, linguistics and children’s cognitive and emotional development. Our team is multilingual, with several staff members fluent in English, Russian and Ukrainian, and additional language knowledge across the team, including Spanish, French, Swedish and Italian.
Our role is to support each child and their family with science-based guidance, care and practical tools, helping children grow, learn and become confident, independent learners at their own pace.

We don’t push children forward we walk beside them.
